Bach Flower Advice

What is Bach Flower Therapy?

Bach Flower Therapy works with Bach flowers. Dr. Edward Bach, who lived in the beginning of the previous century, discovered Bach Flower Therapy.

He discovered that certain flowers of plants, shrubs and trees have the ability to bring negative emotions and states of mind, like stress, depression, fears, doubt etc back into balance. This was the start of what is now called Bach Flower Therapy.

In Bach Flower Therapy we work with 38 different flowers. A maximum of 7 different flowers are selected and put together in a Bach Flower Essences combination. Of this combination a minimum of 6 x 4 drops per day are taken. These drops can be taken directly on the tongue or in another liquid for example water, a soft drink or tea. The effect remains.

Bach Flower Therapy is 100% natural and completely harmless. No side effects and the Bach Flower Therapy can be started with from as soon as birth. Bach Flower Therapy can be combined with any other form of therapy or medication; it will not have any influence on it.

The hardest part of Bach Flower Therapy is selecting the right combination. For this a thorough knowledge is required of the 38 Bach Flowers. As well as the ability to have an objective view on your own state of mind. This is often not so easy to do as you are both the object and the subject of the observation, which you need to assess. Therefor it is often suggested to consult a professional Bach Flower Essences consultant when using Bach Flower Therapy. He or she as outsider can offer an objective view on the emotions you currently suffer from.

There are not so many Bach Flower Essences therapists yet. Bach Flower Therapy is becoming more popular, this leading to more people wanting to study this fascinating subject. This will automatically lead to the rise in acknowledged Bach Flower consultants who promote the use of Bach Flower Therapy.

Bach Flower Therapy is a gentle way of treatment. Often results will come to the surface gradually and often their closest relations see the first changes in the behaviour of the person. Bach Flower Essences have to be taken consistently and for a long enough period. A certain form of discipline is needed to get good results.
